Le curiose strutture da Petavius fino a Furnerius-W
I return on the crater Petavius for another question. Observing images of Petavius is clear a large splitting of the west - southwest walls between Wrottesley and Petavius-C craters. Is also clear that on east of this splitting we can see a structure named "Railroad" include two narrow and parallel withe lines. After crater Petavius-C this structures are oriented to south direction and after crossing in the floor of Hase and Hase-D craters go to end in the area of crater Furnerius-W, in the region near Austral sea. The 1st image is a map of the examined area, on the 2nd image is indicated the likely structure from Wrottesley to Furnerius-W (1st and 2nd images was taken on 2013/08/22 at 20h49'33"UT), while the 3rd image was taken on 2012/10/02 at 21h10'08"UT. I thing that the large splitting of the west wall of Petavius is begin to north of this crater, more clear on the 3rd image.
