Montes Ural - Riphaeus and nearby lunar domes. Images taken on 2016/18/03 at 18h09'21"UT from Cremona (Italy) using Mak Rumak 255mm F20 telescope with camera Imaging Source DBK41 res. 1280x960. Exp. 2'26" x 1/8" at 7,5 fps. Stacked 700/1100 frames, no filters and no Barlow lens. In this image is remarkable the mountain chain now known as Ural-Riphaeus, but in the old nomenclature it was so called: a) Montes Ural the arch on SW of crater Euclides-P - b) Montes Riphaeus Boreus the northern segment - c) Montes Riphaeus Medius the central segment - d) Montes Riphaeus Major the southeastern segment - e) Montes Riphaeus Minor the southwestern segment. This lunar structure is located in SE sector of oceanus Procellarum. On east of Montes Ural we can observe the lunar domes named Lansberg 1-2-3. In the north sector of Montes Riphaeus is the dome Riphaeus-1.
